On smaller projects I would meet with clients and assessing their needs and aspirations, then from what they wanted to achieve I would translate that into a finished video. I would typically turn up and assess the environment to establish the best place for shots, then set up my equipment and discreetly capture the events as they unfolded. During the editing process I would typically liaise with the client at all stages, to ensure that the project unfolded in a way that they were happy with.

 

Majority of my work is with a company called IMP-UK, who specialise in web streaming and DVD production of ice events. My role not only includes camera work but also responsible for production planning, rigging and making sure a clean audio and video signal is received ready for streaming.

I have extensive knowledge of using Sony PMW and JVC GY series of cameras. I also have long term experience with Adobe Premiere and Photoshop. I am fluent with different types of editing, from conceptual and suggestive to beats and narrative. Having knowledge and multi-skilled in different areas of video production, I have worked on many client based projects from conception to completion, successfully meeting the clients brief on time and in budget.

I am still enthusiastic about working in the industry and am a hard and consistent worker, who integrates well into a production team. When working solely on a project, I am highly self-motivated and can work under pressure and to strict deadlines. I am also as happy working within a team environment and can effectively communicate. On every project I am hard working and more than willing to go the extra mile, to ensure that a project is completed to a professional standard.
